TEHRAN A delegation of Lebanese Shiite Hizbollah movement headed by its Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah arrived here on Tuesday for talks with the Iranian officials.

Commenting on Nasrallah's visit, an analyst noted, "It's natural for him to be here at a time when there is an explosive situation in the Middle East."

He went on to say, "It's no secret that Hizbollah enjoys the political and moral support of the Islamic Republic."

The U.S. daily *** Washington Times *** recently reported that the Lebanese fighters are armed with weapons supplied to them by the Islamic Republic.

Asked to comment on the daily's report, the analyst said, "I'm not a government official, and I don't know about this. So I can't deny or confirm this report. But what I know is that it is the duty of all those believing in justice to provide the necessary assistance to Hizbollah and others fighting against the Zionist occupiers."

Several groups like Hizbollah and Hamas are fighting to liberate their territories from the occupation of the Zionist forces.

"It's really a shame on the writer of the article in *** Washington Times *** or other Western media that criticize Iran, claiming that it is supplying weapons to Hizbollah, since the same writers and media are turning a blind eye to the supply of advanced and sophisticated weapons to the Zionist regime by the pro-Zionist U.S. administration. These weapons are being used against unarmed Palestinian men, women and children," the analyst commented.
